On March 10th, 2007 the Oregon Council of the Federation of Fly Fishers awarded our club, Northwest Flyfishers, the 2007 Club of the Year Award.  We thank the Oregon Council for recognition of our efforts  over the past several years.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We are grateful to the many dedicated members of our club who have supported our efforts to raise funds throughout the year for educational and conservational causes.  We attribute the past and recent success of the annual Fly Tyers Rendezvous, as well as various community services to this award.  Most recently, with the assistance of other local clubs like the Washington County Fly Fishers and the Clark-Skamania Fly Fishers we have been successful at enhancing the Fly Tyers Rendezvous which supports local fishery habitats.

 

We thank the Oregon Council for bestowing this award on us and hope that we can continue to strive toward the goals common to our organizations.
